OUR STUDENTS
It's safe to say, we are very proud of the students in our program.
Our students come from Progreso, Chicxulub and Flamboyones. Each year they have grade requirements to reach and maintain: an 8.0 GPA! And each year they deliver impressive results across a range of subjects. In fact, 82% of students who received our support have graduated high school and/or are attending college.
Because of the support that our students have received from their sponsors over many years, they recognize the importance of giving back to the community.
Below is an excerpt from a letter from one of our college students whose generous sponsors are paying 50% of the cost of medical school so this young man can become a doctor:

Since I was a child, 
I grew up in an environment marked by illness, as my mother suffers from diabetes and is allergic to certain medications, which causes her to recover more slowly. This situation left a profound mark on me, as for years I didn't know how to help her beyond watching helplessly. Today, achieving my academic dream of going to medical school is also a personal promise: to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to help her and other patients facing similar situations.
